London – Media, technology and IP law firm Wiggin has announced that leading IP litigator Priya Nagpal has joined the firm as a Partner in its Intellectual Property team.

Priya brings nearly 25 years’ experience advising clients on complex, technology-driven IP disputes in the UK and internationally. Her practice spans patent litigation involving hi-tech inventions and medical devices, as well as trade secrets and copyright disputes regarding software, data and emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain. She has acted for clients across the technology, fintech, life sciences and media sectors.

Priya joins Wiggin from Simmons & Simmons, where she became a partner in 2019, following more than a decade at Olswang. She has extensive experience leading business-critical IP litigation before the High Court, Court of Appeal and CJEU, and is consistently ranked by the leading legal directories, including Legal 500 and Chambers UK. She has also been recognised by Managing Intellectual Property as both a ‘Patent Star’ and one of the ‘Top 250 Women in IP’, in addition to being nominated for Managing Intellectual Property’s EMEA Awards across multiple categories in successive years (for ‘UK Patent Practitioner of the Year 2025’ and ‘UK Soft IP Practitioner of the Year 2026’).
