Lizzie is a senior litigator with particular experience of media disputes.
“I represent clients across Wiggin’s key sectors, including news publishers, film studios, TV and theatre producers and broadcasters. I provide pre-publication and pre-action advice as well as conducting litigation. I have particular experience of issues relating to defamation, privacy and data protection, as well as advising on contract and copyright disputes.
Before joining Wiggin, I spent four years as part of the in-house editorial legal team at a major international news publisher. I worked closely with journalists and editors to get important stories over the line while limiting legal risk. I managed a wide range of post-publication complaints and litigation, often from very high-profile and well-resourced individuals and organisations.
I provide responsive, clear, and commercial legal advice, allowing clients to focus on their priorities – be it breaking vital stories, creating ground-breaking content, or developing new technology.”
