Ofcom has announced the application deadlines for companies wishing to take part in the upcoming spectrum auction. Ofcom is releasing airwaves in the 700 MHz and 3.6-3.8 GHz bands through an auction, with bidding expected to start in January 2021. Any company wishing to take part in the auction must submit its application to Ofcom between 10:00 on 3 December 2020 and 16:00 on 4 December 2020.

Applicants must also provide an initial deposit, which Ofcom must receive by 23:59 on 4 December 2020. For further information about the auction rules and application process, click here.
